as title says... why we use innodb on some tables? if there is no transactions we don't need it i think. MyISAM is faster.

ok guys. I was comunicating with masterm and as it seems we don't need innodb at all. i will check it out on my server, measure some benchmarks and so on and publish here what i found.....

I have all in MyISAM for long time; also easier to repair Wink

ok so why is many tables in LDT repack 3.4 in innodb format? Very Happy should be fixed that sql...

I duunow, never really paid attention to it...

Since Kobold preloads data from mySQL, the speed of the SQL server was not that important.

Also, the database is too small to be worried about performance. Or are you realy hosting huge amounts of data for thousands of people?? The Kobold DB is now approx. 30Mb...mySQL has default 4GB capasity per database Wink

(Now however, LDC's python scripts get info directly from mySQL, so it has become little important...)
